QAnon, Trump and the Epstein connection
The oddest thing about the Q Anon conspiracy is that it posits that Donald Trump, a one-time friend of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, was waging a secret battle against child predators. The footage of Epstein with Trump at Mar-a-Lago has been well publicised.
This was the natural milieu of Donald Trump. In 2002, before Epstein’s crimes were publicly reported, Trump told New York magazine:
“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”
When Ghislaine Maxwell was arrested Trump said repeatedly on separate occasions “I wish her well”.
“She say anything about me?” Trump asked aides in the Oval Office in 2020.
In her biography of Trump, Maggie Haberman quotes Sam Nunberg, a former adviser, on how Trump responded when asked what his biggest fear was about running for president:
“The women.”
QAnon cast the Clintons as literal blood-drinking child traffickers and Trump, somehow, as the one who would stop them.
Lady Victoria Hervey described an intimate dinner she attended where other guests included Bill Clinton, Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump.
“Everyone was very pally with him [Epstein]. He was a very well liked guy… The chemistry between him and all these other powerful people. There were close bonds, you could see that”.
Bill and Donald were friends for years, as documented in dozens of photographs.
